Excellent location, good food, clean rooms, comfortable lounge/bar.staff very obliging, nothing too much trouble. Entertainment average. Two pools, one heated. Plenty of sun beds. Organised activities.

Food fab bar service fab. Rooms spotless but in need of renovation esp bathrooms in 129. Went all out on christmas day. Entertainment was great. Heated pool non existant! Ok if your over 70 at christmas. Not sure what it be like in summer. Central for everything

I am a solo traveller but all staff very kind the hotel in ideal position on sea front over looking Martinez in the restaurant there is a wide variety of meals with a different theme each night in restaurant the hotel very clean

For a hotel open all year, it must be difficult to refurbish, but they're doing it . . . slowly.Our bedroom had been upgraded to the H10 new standard, but the bathroom was quite tired. worst was the shower over the bath . . . . it wouldn't stay up on its pole and the pressure, (from a mixer-tap) had a mind of its own anywhere from freezing cold to scalding hot throughout your daily shower - dangerous and unpleasant!!!!Entertainment over 7 nights was 1=fantastic, 5=poor, bingo=every number read 4 times in 3 languages . . . . when the house was called in 70 numbers = 840 numbers read out! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzThere's the bad, now the good : Food Choice and quality, Cleaning maids, H10 club benefits, bar prices.Overall? . . 4 stars

The hotel is in an excellent position and is pleasantly laid-out with pool bar etc. The big downside was that I was constantly complaining that the food was not hot on the buffet. They apologised, gave us a bottle of cava and things improved for a day or so, but after that it was just the same as before. Certain foods like rice are not safe if they are not hot - no wonder tummy upsets are common. And it just wasn't appetizing to look at. It is a shame because the restaurant is lovely with fabulous views. The desserts were fine with nice ice-cream. We were quite shocked to be charged 25 euros plus 10 euros deposit for the use of the safe for 11 days. Many hotels these days don't charge and why should they, its there for our security at no cost to the hotel and we were fully inclusive! Apart from this the entertainment was dire. 2 nights of our stay the highlight was bingo. The resident group became very boring after a day or 2. On the plus side the drinks were good. The reception staff were sometimes a bit curt and I was annoyed that they wouldn't take credit card payment for tickets to the Loro Parque.

Good friendly hotel clean with good choice of food, one drawback smoking on balcony can be a problem, but highly recommend it's position on the flat and sea front , with good pool area, food and friendly staff, from reception restaurant to cleaner, overal super hotel.

First time we have been to the north of Tenerife and certainly wasn't disappointed. The hotel was well situated right on the beach with plenty bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and there was a lot of choice of food from this 4* hotel. Would difinately recommend a visit

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in June 2017 for one week. The room was appalling, the air conditioning leaked and water soaked the wall and floor. We reported this on a daily basis (several times a day in fact) and were assured it would be fixed and although a maintenance man came out regularly the problem was not resolved. The receptionist was very rude and quite aggressive and was not helpful in the slightest. The room was tiny with nowhere to put our cases so we were tripping over them for the duration. Lighting is very poor which made the room feel very dark and dismal. The bar staff are friendly enough but there is not enough of them during the evening. The cocktails are pre mixed and no effort at all was made to make them look authentic or appealing. The restaurant is decent and most days we found something that we liked although did opt to eat out some evenings when the choice wasn’t so good. There are a few restaurants around but the main bars and restaurants are around a 10 – 15 minute walk down a hill (which means a walk back up at the end of the evening!) Location of the hotel is OK, and it is on the beach front although the beach is not suitable for sunbathing. I would not recommend this hotel and will certainly not be returning.
