H10 Costa Adeje Palace

We had a wonderful stay here at Feb mid term. We booked the privileged option and in general, it was good. The privilege restaurant wasn't great so we ended up eating in the general one despite having paid the increased price. This offered more variety.

A great hotel and overall great service from friendly and efficient staff . My one and only criticism was the staff at one of the a la carte restaurants in the hotel . The service was awful . Not only was there no one to great us and others g fry or 10 mins . I had to find someone . Then we were waiting another 15 mins and no one came to ask us if we wanted a drink , menus . Absolutely nothing . They were not busy so makes it even more inexcusable. We got up and walked out in the end and fed up with waiting . We wouldn’t have mind fig they acknowledged us to say they would be with us shortly . No wonder the a la cate ( paying restaurants ) are empty as you can get cheaper and better service ! Such a shame as I cannot fault every other aspect of service a, friendliness and professionalism within the hotel .

This was our second visit to this hotel, this time with Jet2. Food is invariably very good, some evenings excellent, which is why we returned and sitting outside, even in the evening, was very atmospheric with the lighting and heaters. Our room each time was spacious, airy and very comfortable. Balconies are very spacious and private, however the side sea view ones do not get the sun. Negatives. Pools only have ladder access instead of steps leading in. Difficult for us with less mobility. Chairs and tables have been removed from outside the pool bar, so its either a drink on your subbed or under cover inside the pool bar. This was not for us, so we used to walk to a beach bar a few minutes walk nearby, much better. Did not like the fact that is heavily geared for the privilege guests and AI guests, so you have three tiers of service. However, all in all we did enjoy our stay there and would consider staying again maybe in the future.

Holidayed at this Hotel in late April 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food and facilities excellent but location a little out of the way with a 15 minute walk to the main beach in Adeje. Indoor pool and heated outdoor pool were useful given the time of year. But other outdoor pools and immediate access to beach would be nice in the summer. Would be happy to go back to this hotel.

Poor signage on where facilities are. Discovered entertainment lounge on 3rd day, crazy golf green and pond with fish and turtles on last day. Be prepared to pay extra for using room safe, sauna and steam room. Make sure smoke detector in your room isn’t covered in masking tape. Reception staff not helpful or friendly. Food was good. Buffet style. Waiter staff and cleaner staff were the upside of service.

Generally the hotel is almost excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were kept spotless. The food in the main restaurant was excellent with lots of choice at breakfast and the evening meal - we didn't have lunch there. The hotel itself is a 30 minute stroll along the seafront from Fanabe where there is a major shopping area, if that's your thing, and the market which takes place on Saturdays and Thursdays. The pool area is spacious and well laid-out, lots of sun loungers which are very comfortable and you also get courtesy beach towels. The only problem we experienced was that the hotel bins were emptied at around 4 in the morning. The noise was horrendous plus the flashing lights on the refuse wagon illuminated the room. We persevered for four nights but couldn't take it any longer and complained. The chap on reception was most apologetic and we were given a room on the opposite side of the hotel. I suggested to him that it would be a good idea if they arranged for the bins to be emptied during daylight hours and he replied that they had already tried to re-schedule but had been forced to accept the current arrangement. It's a shame really because it was a blot on what is otherwise a very nice hotel.

We enjoyed 10 days in this Hotel . The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Although dated the accommodation was clean and well cared for. There were always plenty of places to sit by the pool and in the public areas. It is worth paying extra for a room with pool and side sea views. Ask for a room on 3rd floor or above.

Located in a less busy area of Costa Adeje, The room is a good size with balcony. The landscape of the hotel is very good, one of the best I have stayed in Tenerife, with swimming pools and sunbeds well spread out.. Will return
