LIVVO Hotels Dunagolf Suites

We had room 27 for 2 weeks and if we could have left we would have. Grass outside was like a jungle so we had all sorts of critters walking across the patio into the apartment. It seems they are more interested in selling they’re upgraded over priced suites that no one took. There was no onsite entertainment - no on site shop however there is theyre sister site Duna beach shop which is open with disgusting over priced items. To sum up you are a good bit away from any other shop so the prices they get away with. The apartment inside was infested with small ants and worse of all the paint was flaking and turning to powder due to some sort of white fungus growing out of the walls and we mean every wall, every day we woke to loads of powdered paint on the floor pushed off from the fungus, it was even on the walls between the beds so we had to pull the beds from the walls, We did complain and told “we will get it looked at and if need be change apartment” The fungus did get looked at, they washed it off the walls so in there eyes it was fixed.the next day fungus was back again with paint all over the floors and no chance of being moved we had to make do. We will Never again go back to this dump. You have been warned

This complex has good and bad points,first the good clean good maid service now the bad these bungalows are in much need of updating and upgrading.in our bungalow 2 of the doors stuck open and couldn’t be shut.the tv was a good 32 inch but only 1 American channel the rest Spanish there is no toaster or kettle and the freezer in the fridge was useless.the site also has a large no of Ferrell cats.the location is not good unless you are a good walker as it is in an area that has not been built up and footpaths are not in place everywhere.we enjoyed our stay but felt we needed to point out its bad points.

Terrible place, spent two terrible weeks here and had to ask for the bed sheets to be changed after 11 days. Restaurant closed at 9.30pm and the bar at 10.00pm, and we where in the middle of nowhere. The supermarket closed at 2pm every day except Sunday when they were closed. Spent £200 in the 2 weeks on taxis. Cockroaches had to be swept from the bungalow every night and bed covered in flies, disgusting. So stay here at your peril.

Dunagulf is a beautiful complex with an amazing pool area, very relaxing atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. The apartment itself was spacious and a large terrace. However, the self catering facilities were very limited, eg only a hob, no oven, microwave or toaster. The beds were single bed which is annoying for a couple looking for a romantic holiday. And the beds are very very uncomfortable, we only thought on the last night to put the cushions from the sofa onto the bed to make it more comfortable. So would definitely recommend doing this if you stay here ! Maid service was really good, they even washed up. However, there is an ant problem at the hotel, we left our cereal and crisps on the counter (as there was no cupboard space) and they were infested with ants! So we kept all food in the fridge from then on. Location isn’t brilliant as far from any restaurants / bars, but taxis are cheap, about €4.50 to most places. The yumbo centre was our favourite place as it was lively and had a large choice of restaurants.

Really nice complex all staff friendly , accommodation clean , cleaners in every day but waited till you went out which was a nice touch, bus and taxis reasonable , pool lovely and very clean areas surrounding, food and drink prices very good ! Will definitely return 😀

Not sure what people expect for the price, yes it is basic but adequate for the 11 nights i stayed. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff/cleaners. Shop was opened 8am to 8pm except Sundays when closed at 2pm where you could just nip next door to Duna Beach (a massive 3 minute walk). Pool was superb. I always go self catering and the facilities in the Bungalow were more than adequate so cannot comment on the food. I had a lot of lovely walks from the resort to Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles but if too far get a Taxi for around 4 to 5 euros. If you want a relaxing holiday, quiet resort with great weather this was a great place. If you want a kettle, Michelin star food, a free bus, memory foam beds pay an extra 3500 euros and go to Rui Palace down the road.

This is not self catering.More hostel standards.Dirty accommodation. Only one pan and a frying pan.No kettle or toaster.Cleaner was terrible.not swept or mopped for the full holiday.sprayed air freshener then left.
