Floramar Aparthotel

We stayed here in April 2022 for a week. The hotel was perfectly situated and near the beach. The restaurant and bar staff were exceptional, and made a big effort with our one year old daughter. There was plenty choice in terms of food, and the one bedroom apartment was a fantastic space. In terms of Cala Galdana in April, it was the start of the season so there were not a lot of places open, but luckily the hotel had everything we needed.

I loved our holiday here. The staff are fantastic, the location was great, lovely views. Food was always fresh with a great choice & good quality. Great for families. Thank you once again for a great stay!

My wife, daughter and I stayed here the last week in may first few days in June. The views over Cala galdana from our balcony and the pool area were fantastic. The location is great with a number of excellent restaurants nearby, and the gorgeous beach a short walk away. My only small comment would be the fruit juice at breakfast could have been less watery.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. My only only gripes about our stay was the choice on cocktails as an all inclusive holiday we was limited to one type of cocktail per day and if we wanted to differ from the daily it was €6.50. Good location apart from the hill climb to the hotel. Views over the bay are beautiful.

The first 5 days of our holiday were not all inclusive and that’s what we paid for. There were no snacks available between meals as stated on the Jet2 website. It took several moans to the rep before anything was done and we had to provide proof that snacks were included in our holiday. Since when is full board all inclusive!Also our daughter has to have a dairy free diet and prior to going on our holiday we contacted Jet2 to see if this was a problem and we were reassured that it Wasn’t and to just let the hotel staff know on arrival. We did this and were told it wasn’t a problem but it was. There were no dairy free alternatives at meal times despite asking the manager on several occasions and our daughter wasn’t even able to have a ice lolly instead of ice cream without paying.

Had a really good week at the Floramar. Stayed in a Superior room with pool view which was lovely, modern and comfortable. The hotel staff were very efficient and friendly. Overall hotel was excellent an the resort was really nice.

A decent hotel with a good swimming pool, good buffet style meals with reasonable choice. The evening entertainment is quite limited but there is plenty going on in the resort. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Our apartment was spacious and perfectly acceptable but a little tired and would benefit from a refurbishment. The hotel is up a short steep hill from the main resort but is only 5 minutes walk from the shops and bars. The views across the bay from the hotel are excellent. The resort is quite new and has a good range of shops, bars and restaurants and a lovely beach. There are other excellent beaches to the East (Mitjana) and West (Macarella) of the resort within a 30 minute pleasant walk through woodland and are well worth visiting.

Comfortable hotel in good location. The staff are very helpful and great you with a cheery "Hola". It is situated up quite a steep hill so could be a challenge for those with walking difficulties. My only negative comment is the price of the wifi at 20 euro a week, we just used the free one in reception or waited until we went to restaurants nearby. Room facilities good, comfortable and free aircon a great bonus. To sum up we have stayed in a lot worse places for a lot more.

This hotel is perfect for families with children between the ages of 5-18. It is located at the top of quite a big hill, but only a 5 minute walk. Little ones or anyone infirm might struggle with getting back from the resort or beach. The hotel is spotless and the staff cannot do enough fro you. The newly refurbished rooms are fantastic, but cost slightly more. The other rooms are still very clean and well serviced but getting a little outdated now. This hotel is in a fantastic resort and there aren't many places of this standard that are still affordable for families here, especially in the summer.

The Floramar is great for families, nice friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and nice pool area, it is on a hillside so you need to be fairly fit if walking to the beach or resort centre and back but in Cala Galdana this hotel offers the best value for families so the walk is worth it, they offer HB,FB & AI so you have the choice, food is quite good and varied with a mix of local and International dishes unless you are very particular you will find something good to eat, the fish was always nice, live cooking at dinner and a BBQ evening once weekly, good selection at breakfast and decent coffee as well, we have had 3 family holidays here and enjoyed it very much, many rooms have now been upgraded and its a comfortable 3 star + but the ambience gives it a nice feeling for a family holiday, entertainment some evenings and all finished by around 11pm so not noisy or rowdy after then.
