Prinsotel Alba

Ok. The hotel itself is fine. However we went end of July for 10 nights... we finally got a sunbed on day 8!!! Whole pool area was chaotic. Waaaaaay to many people in the pool to be safe... kids jumping off the sun deck area... balls thrown hard hitting kids... people jumping onto inflatables into the pool over people's heads... life guard was too busy on his phone to bother... really spoilt the holiday. Pool just wasn't big enough for the size of hotel... so we couldn't use it safely... saving grace was that the beach is close so we spent our days there. Just a shame we paid for a pool we couldn't use ☹

Hotel has a good location within resort. Main beach (Cala Gran), Spar and restaurants are less than 5mins away. Cala Esmeralda is 10mins(in opposite direction). Centre of resort is 10mins away and Marina 20mins away on foot. Staff in hotel work very hard and are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Rosario in the restaurant who looked after us so well during our stay. The entertainment team were excellent and provided lots of activities to participate in but were not pushy if you didn't want to join in. The only complaint I can make is that there was no corkscrew/bottle opener in the apartment and I would have liked a dustpan and brush in the apartment so I could have swept up the inevitable dust and sand after a day at the beach, but these are very small things. Overall we had a great time, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the staff were lovely and the quality and choice of food in the restaurant was excellent.

A great hotel and the staff were great throughout trip and made a real effort to ensure our holiday was great. Felt as if their customers were valued and that they wanted to make it a great holiday. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious and plentiful and bar prices were reasonable,

A nice, clean and welcoming hotel. It is an older hotel that has had a facelift though so things like the air conditioning and plumbing are I suspect fairly old. The face plate for the control to the air conditioning in our room wasn't joined on properly and when it stopped working a workman did come very quickly and got it working again but just by adjusting the inner workings and sticking the old face plate back on. In addition there was sometimes a bit of a smell in the bathroom (surprisingly not caused by my husband). The staff were all nice and friendly and drinks etc seemed reasonably priced. The pool whilst nice and clean was really not big enough when the hotel was full. It was not quite as a big as it seemed in the photos. Again at night when the entertainment was on there were not quite enough tables and chairs for everyone when busy. It was on the whole a good holiday. The hotel was in a great location literally 10 steps away from the stairs down to the beach. Cala d'Or is a lovely place.

We stayed here for a week in August we were self catering so can't comment on the all inclusive food,but that being said you could order meals but .what I saw of the meals people were ordering at the bar they looked fantastic and reasonably priced ( was a little sad we never ate at the hotel when I saw the meals) very busy round the pool but we went over the road to the beach and went round the pool late afternoon .Cala dor is a fantastic resort was my second time and will definitely go back and same for the hotel lots of pool entertainment in the afternoon for kids and adults so would recommend this hotel.

The apartments were very well equipped, clean and in a good location. Unfortunately there were not enough sunbeds for everyone which resulted in people reserving sunbeds from about 7am or earlier. There are no lifts so anyone with mobility issues need to ensure that they are given an apartment on the ground floor. The one bedroom apartment was cleaned every day and clean towels provided. The location of the apartment was very central with easy access to the centre of the resort.

Great hotel and staff. Rooms contemporary, spacious and well kitted out. Great location near beach and shops. Only downside is small pool area for amount of rooms but wouldn't put us off going again. Kids club and entertainment excellent. Food plenty and good choice.

Just back from 10 days holiday....was great hotel with good facilities and the rooms were excellent. My only complaint is that need to lock sunbeds away until at least 9am as you had to have your towel down before 7am to ensure you got a sunbed before the Germans took them all.

Had a fantastic all inclusive holiday last week at the Prinsotel Alba. Our superior apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean. We had a pool view which we loved. The food could not be faulted something to suit all tastes, also no problems with getting a sunbed and no time restrictions as previously mentioned. You are close to the nearby beach and the Cala D'or shops. Would certainly return. All the staff work extremely hard and I would like to say a big thank you for a fantastic time.
