Alcudia’s ideal for families and couples looking for a bit of history and bags of sunshine. Split the days on your Majorca holiday between the long sandy beach and the Old Town, a five-minute taxi ride from the coast. Between those hotspots, there are dozens of wallet-friendly restaurants and bars to while away the balmy evenings.
The sandy beach starts at the swanky marina and keeps going for seven stunning kilometres. At the southern end, you’ll find hidden coves perfect for quiet sunbathing and swimming. Closer to town, there’s a buzz of adrenaline-inducing watersports and tapas restaurants facing the deep blue Mediterranean Sea.
Take in medieval history in the Old Town. It’s surrounded by a centuries-old wall, enclosing houses that were built way back in the 1200s! On these historic streets, you’ll find traditional markets that offer up a taste of a real Majorca holiday – any excuse to pick up some trinkets to take home.
Alcudia, Majorca
Unwind on Blue-Flag Alcudia Beach, a long sweep of coastline perfect for a day in the sunshine. You'll find white sand for sandcastle building and shallow waters, patrolled by lifeguards, for paddling. There are sunloungers, toilets and showers too.
Alcudia, Majorca
For a day of splashtastic fun for all the family, Hidropark is one of Majorca’s top waterparks. Take on the mighty kamikaze, the slide race and the whooshing wave pool, and let the kids enjoy the exciting minipark and children’s world area. There’s also a great restaurant and BBQ area for refreshments.
Alcudia, Majorca
There's nothing like a city wall with ramparts and narrow cobbled streets to transport you straight back to medieval times. Alcudia Old Town is a beautifully restored walled city with plenty going on inside - fiestas, fairs and fabulous markets, as well as cutting-edge restaurants and boutique hotels.
