In the centre of Binibeca, the area of Binibeca Vell is made up of gorgeous villas dominating the streets, making the town one of the most picturesque locations on entire the island. For this reason, it’s also a favourite spot for keen photographers to snap up some great shots.
Within just about a 20-minutes drive, you can be in the capital city of the island, Mahón. Not only is the city the historical centre of the island thanks to the Museo de Menorca, but there is also the Torralba d'en Salord nearby – a late Bronze Age settlement.
Binibeca, Menorca
Binibeca Vell is a whitewashed fisherman’s village next to a small harbour. Meander through its labyrinth of cobbled streets to cool down on a sunny afternoon and take a break at one of its handful of restaurants. Sa Musclera Restaurant is on the north side of the village and serves tasty local fayre.
Binibeca, Menorca
Right on the edge of Cala Torret village near Binibeca is a remote harbour and jetty, home to the resort’s diving. Afterwards you can head to the fountain square and indulge at one of the traditional restaurants.
Binibeca, Menorca
Several unique boutiques are hidden in the nooks and crannies of the brilliant-white fisherman villas in Binibeca’s narrow streets. They mostly sell locally-produced leather goods such as shoes and bags that you won't find anywhere else, so it's a great place to shop for souvenirs.
